"Listen to other people. Too many people, here, think they know everything. We have a lot to learn from other people, especially with empathy. I think it's the first step in coming together and understanding somebody else. I try to build my relationships that way. Especially, with the work that I'm getting into, as a counselor, it's really important for me to step into the world or somebody else. I can't help them until I can understand their world.
